It's... OK. Not the worst. Not the best. Olive Garden quality food with the prices of a 5-star fine dining establishment.... Waiter was not rude... but was also not the friendliest either... if you know what I mean. The desert was brought out in ajar... like I understand you guys wanna be creative and artistic but come on... just give me the piece of cake on a dish - butmaybe that's the peasant in me talking. This is no Olive Garden. That's a gross misrepresentation from some reviewers here. Sure it is pricey but the food was great. We... enjoyed it. They went above and beyond with their service. Read more

Beautiful place, centrally located in Georgetown and walking distance to everything! I was warmly greeted by the host/hostess... as they verified my reservation. I went during lunch so I didn’t really need one, but I always like to be prepared. It was 12noon exact. Food: I ordered the chef’s special. Taste of the pasta was fantastic. Great flavors, fresh but perhaps since itwas the special, it may have been prepared in advance, because from the time I ordered it took maybe 6 minutes before it cameout, arriving at the same time as the drinks. The bread was nothing to rave about (hard and cold) and I actually had to askthem to bring a saucer and prepare the olive oil and red wine vinegar for dipping. Not as if they forgot, but it was as thoughit was not the norm. That may be my uncultured ignorance or maybe it was poor service but I was a little disappointed with thatand the timing— especially given the fact that they noted it could take up to 20 minutes for them to prepare fresh pasta toorder every time. Like I said, my pasta was fantastic (albeit lukewarm). Service: The main server was attentive, but thegentleman who was pouring the water or working alongside the server was somewhat off putting and inattentive. Maybe he wasnew. Costs: $118 for two pasta dishes & two drinks + 1 coffee. No salad. No soup. Complimentary chilled bread and water. WouldI go Back? Maybe, if only to redeem the service. Pasta, no matter how good or fresh should not cost an average of $45 per plate,in my honest opinion. I enjoyed it better in Rome, at a fraction of the cost. Read more

When I am DC for business… I always have to dine in at Cafe Milano… is still a classic pick for D.C. restaurant-lovers. I... recognized the consistent quality of service! Food was outstanding and incredible! I loved that branzino fish fillet. Thewaiter, host and hostess made us feel welcomed, the server was so tentative! Very friendly, a place where you have to dressed upnot dress down! Looking forward to coming back! Side note! Make reservations at advance notice! Read more

Café Milano is still a classic pick for D.C. restaurant-goers. This place has stood the test of time and is definitely... recognized for consistent quality and posh environment! I took my sister here for an early Birthday/ Bridal outing and we hadsuch a Lovely experience! All Staffmembers are helpful and pleasant! Everyone from the friendly Host, the charismatic Bartender, the knowledgeable Server to the accommodating support staff- treated us like we were important. Food was incredible! I lovedthat each pasta dish offered was named after prestigious Italian Designers like Versace, Cavalli, and Gucci! The dirty martiniswere perfectly executed- which is an art in itself! Why has Café Milano has managed to withstand the rampant-changingRestaurant World? It is obvious that Taste and Class never go out of style! Read more
