I had an absolutely amazing dinner here with my dad tonight! The citrus chicken salad was so good and the poutine was great as... well. The chicken pot pie was good, and the drinks were great. I definitely recommend to anyone in the DC area. The Britishtheme is ironic considering its in the nations capitol, but nevertheless it’s a fantastic restaurant with great food. Read more
The definition of average food. Chicken sandwich was dry and the bun was an absolute disaster. Brioche? Please. Dry stale and it... crumbled. The salad seemed fresh. Great location with a nice pub atmosphere. We had a Cajun Chicken Wrap with French Fries and Chicken Fingers with Onion Rings.... Both dishes were very tasty. If you are in the D C area you need to go here. Why? As other reviewers have stated, service can be slow and/or spotty...... ... but that's because they are insanely busy because the food is so good. *They have an expansive outdoor patio. *They have a hugeindoor footprint. *The fish and chips is just to die for. The battered fish is as big as the plate and fried toperfection. *The tarter sauce is home made. *The slaw is very lightly mixed with scallions and cilantro. It is light anddelicate and uniquely delicious. *They are open continuously (many restaurants close at 2 or 3 then reopen for dinner at 5) *Thebread pudding is spot on. You will regret not trying it. Just happened to walk by and decided to eat here for dinner. Everything was great. I got the pie sampler and the Shepard’s pie... was definitely the best.
