Do not upgrade your pancakes from regular to tres leches. They just give you two sauces to drizzle over them. The rest of the... food is pretty average fast food breakfast stuff. Definitely one of out worst experiences at a restaurant. We were a family of 4 adults & 1 toddler. We put our names down for a... table at 11.30 having been told it would take 15min. We were not called for an hour. IHOP was mismanaged and short-staffed. Wegot a table at 12.30pm.One staff member shouted at my daughter when she ordered a portion of milk (from the menu) for her 2 yearold requesting that it be served first. This staff lady shouted at us 3 times during our visit, & then refused to serve us. Wewere served by another waiter after another hour. This waiter was very sweet to us trying to make up for the obnoxious ( &racist) behaviour of the lady staff member. The stress caused by the inefficiency leading to the delay & the sheer rudeness ofthe staff person will keep us out of IHOP for the rest of our lives! Read more
I had the worst experience I have ever had going to IHOP. We went in greeted by a waitress in inappropriate feet attire for that... setting, and her position. She was wearing sliders, and socks I sincerely pitty the restaurant for when her or someone else isinjured because of their footwear attire. Secondly when we were asked what to drink they brought our kiddos orange juice outimmediately, but took about 20-25 minutes for a cup of coffee. No issue with our food whatsoever, but the wait time was reallylong. Lastly when we were done eating our waitress was no where to be found. Previous ihop locations I have been to allow youto get the tab and pay up front this location did not allow that, so we had to wait for the waitress which proved to also be along time. She took another customers payment, and then took ours. We gave her a larger bill so she ?had to get change?. Went tothe back for roughly 15 minutes. We left her a tip on the table based on the inadequate service we received which she saw. As Iwas leaving she mumbled ?dang no tip?!? To which I stated it?s on the table? and to be honest you took so long with everythingincluding the simplest task of obtaining change that you really do not deserve one. Our family typically gives pretty large tipsbecause we know what it?s like to work as a server however in this case one was not warranted at all;however, we still gaveone. I think she took long on our $30 change in hopes we would just leave, but we waited because? I mean the service was notgreat. We ate at many other restaurants during our visit and tipped our servers very well $20,$50, $100 even. So it wasdefinitely her loss. Read more

This evening my BLIND 77 yo father & I tried to have dinner at this location. Allow me to preface this. We are visiting from out... of state. My father's an Air Force vet. Came to DC to see the Air n space museum's. We ubered from the Holiday Inn at theCapitol.;(6th & C st.) To this IHOP. We were greeted & lead to seating that was less the optimal for dad. He can see up closewith good lighting. The waitress refused him REASONABLE ACCOMMODATIONS for his sight. Dad walks with cane as most blind ppl do.Not only was he denied RA, she refused to serve us because we had to explaine exact what a RA is. No one was rude to her. AgainTHE SERVER REFUSED TO SEAT A VISUALLY INPAIRED VETERAN & REFUSED TO SERVE HIM THEN ACTED LIKE SHE HAD BEEN DISRESPECTED. ADAwill be hearing from us. SHE DISRESPECTED my father. I will be pusuing all avenues to be sure this arrogant ignorant CHILD istaught ADA laws. I attached a pic the server. Btw, she's in slippers at work. I'd add that the manager took our oder n the cookserved our food. We did not feel safe after her outburst of "I'm not serving u then".
