We ordered 2 steamed shrimp dinners and they were delicious and a nice size. There could have been a few more of them for the... price but they were very good. The gumbo was a little too spicy for my taste so I could only eat about a quarter of it. Theflavor was good but I just couldn't take the heat. We loved the view from our table! Read more
I was in Navarre for my yearly fishing trip and a local recommended Dewey Destin?s for dinner. My goodness this place is a gem.... The Captain's Platter was succulent. Fried perfectly, but NOT over-fried and NOT dry on the inside. Very laid-back interior... seating. You can sit outside too, next to the amazing view of the water and the long bridge that connects to Santa Rosa Island. Read more

Today wa thw 2nd time I have tried this place. Both times the food has been basic and greasy. (THE pictures are from our first... visit in April 2022). I did get a shrimp quesadilla but it didn't seem like fresh. The cheese texture was weird - it was runnyand the flavor was off. It was served with small containers of salsa (also not fresh) and sour cream. The service was nil... it's counter ordering, self-service beverage and seating and they only bring the food out to the tables. The view was pretty,even for an overcast and cloudy day. Read more
