Let me start off with if your in a rush this isn’t the place to go. But if you want the best meal you have ever had, this is... the place to be. I have spent many years in the military and traveled all over the world and may have had my best meal everhere. We did sit at the bar which has a limited menu but none the less it was still amazing. Ernesto, our bartender walked usthrough everything. We tried 4 different Margarita’s (all of which are infused and on the rocks). They did not disappoint. Wefollowed it up with oysters in the shell. For the entree we had Grouper, shrimp, octopus, on rice and grilled in pineapplehalves. If your looking for a great date night, give them a call, reserve a spot (as with any place right now they are runningshort staffed) and get here as soon as you can!!! Went in was told that they took reservations. The hostess said they were booked and the wait was going to be a while. So we... made a reservation in an hour. Came back after the hour was up because she said they would call us. Saw our name crossed outon the notebook and now she said that even though the dining room was half empty they just could not accommodate us. Thatshould have been imparted the first time. Really disappointing. Please do not lie to customers. People say your place is greatbut we will never know as we are from out of town and even if we do come back to town we are not coming back here. We had dinner with friends at Zacatecas last Saturday. Terrible wait times, especially since only a few people were in the... restaurant. Drinks were mediocre, at best. Another long wait for our food, which was cold! We had to almost beg for chips andsalsa. Very expensive evening. We will not go back. We do not recommend. Read more
We had a fabulous meal at Zacatecas. I would highly recommend trying their specials as they are limited time offerings and all... are delicious! But if you're looking for something more traditional, their regular menu is great also. I would advise makingrecommendations before going, as the first time we showed up, there was an hour wait. There are 15-20 min wait if you don't have a reservation. We got in and the spot was cold, I think the windows leak. We waited... at the table for 15 min for someone to take our order of drinks and appetizers. The restaurant wasn't full and there were manyservers to serve food but one to take orders. It took 1.5 hours for the food to arrive and it wasn't hot, a bit warm. we askedand they said it's not ready many times, but clearly someone forgot about it. Meat was burned but we ate it anyway, paid thebill that wasn't cheap and left unhappy. Not recommended at all. Don't waste your time and money. Read more
