Hands down the best pasties we ever had! We've tried pretty much every pasty shop in the region and Iron Town is our clear... favorite. Their expansive menu of gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian, etc is great for those with dietary restrictions too. 5stars is not enough for this UP gem Read more
Seriously the spicy vegan pasty was unreal. We called one hour ahead and they warmed them up for us (since they are frozen).... They are pretty filling too! Highly recommend. Read more
Stopped here specifically for the vegan pasties, which were hearty and so good! If you want to eat these pies on site, Irontown... needs one hour to cook them for your arrival! Worth it to call ahead. Vegan crust filled with tofu, potatoes, carrots, broccoli,cauliflower, nutritional yeast, onion, and garlic. They were out of the spicy vegan pasties by 1 pm. This was our first try at pasties in the Upper Pennisula. Located on a fairly busy corner. Parking can be a bit tricky as it's... adjacent to a road that runs behind it. Quite a few options for pasties here. We had 2 beef ones. My first experience withrutabaga, bit like a potato. Drier than anticipated, but the ketchup helped.
