My boyfriend and i are not from the area and we were looking for some decent seafood. We saw some iffy reviews from here but... gave it a shot. It was absolutely delicious! I got the fried scallop plate and my boyfriend got the whole belly clam roll. Hugeportions, and the French fries and Cole slaw were even delicious. Definitely one of the better seafood spots out there. Prices were reasonable, staff was great. ended up getting a fisherman... platter and the lobster dinner. The Food was well seasoned without tons of salt like most places. Highly recommended any dayand any time. Read more
First time trying this place today. Fish was way undercooked, clam stripes were pretty good. We were the only table in there the... entire time during dinner on a Saturday. Asked waitress if it was always this slow and she basically said yes they're notpopular. Topped it all off with the waitress mixing up splitting our bill between the table, and didn't charge the correctamount we asked her so I guess she didn't want her tip. ??????? wouldn't recommend this place and I guess that's why I've livedhere 32 years and never got recommend to try it out. Red flag #1 which should have been an immediate que to leave was that it was 8pm on a Saturday night and we were the only ones... in there besides one other person sitting at the bar. We ordered steamers and they were so gritty and sandy. We then orderedclam chowder. One was chunky, and the other was completely watery and tasted terrible. I’m not sure if it was from a can, buthonestly I think a can would taste better. We told our waitress that the clam chowder was nasty, thinking she would be nice andtake it off of our bill. Nope. I always tip 20% or more but I just couldn’t. Will never be back. I really hope we don’t getfood poisoning! Read more
