I'm not sure whether to review this place as fine dining (not) or casual dining. My wife and I had dinner on a Saturday night. ... I'd expect them to be on their game. I prefer a wait staff that is polite, helpful and largely transparent. Our experience wasa folksy waiter who thought we wanted to be entertained with jokes and one-liners. Helpful? I asked if he had anyrecommendations from the menu, and he had to excuse himself to ask someone who might know. The frumpily dressed gentleman withshirt hanging out in back didn't dump any food or beverages on us. If that's the standard of excellence, thumbs up. The foodwas not offensive. I had to ask for a sharper knife to cut my meat, not a good sign. It was overcooked as well, but by thispoint of the dinner my expectations had been sufficiently lowered. Read more
