I want to start by saying that the staff are very nice. I have no issues with them, and they did as I asked and they knew what... they were doing. However, if you are looking for good boba tea I would suggest going down the road some and stopping at Boba TeaLounge instead. It?s worth mentioning that Java Haus doesn?t have a wide variety of flavors compared to other places, and whilethis isn?t a huge deal it?s worth letting people know. I also could not adjust the sugar level in the drink, which I wouldnormally do. Today I had the chai tea, and it?s the worst I?ve ever had. I?ve been to most boba places across the New Braunfelsand San Antonio area (I?m a bit obsessed with boba), and I won?t be coming here again. Maybe the other flavors are better, but Iwouldn?t take the chance. I couldn?t even finish my drink, I threw it away. The chai flavor itself was completely wrong. Doesnot taste like chai, I don?t know what it would resemble but it was super fake tasting. Sort of tasted like pure syrup, and italso leaves a horrible aftertaste in your mouth. The syrup doesn?t even taste remotely good (it?s a brown sugar syrup, and isn?teven sweet either) and settles to the bottom in little flakes after a few moments despite mixing. The boba is not the righttexture, it?s sort of hard. This could be one bad batch of course, but I?m not sure that?s the case. It also has no additionalflavor added that I could tell (most places add honey or brown sugar to their boba) so it was extreamly bland. I just have tobe honest it?s a 1/10 for the drink, I don?t recommend it. I don?t like leaving these reviews, but I left regretting my purchaseso I hope to help someone else. I guess you get what you pay for. It?s a good price at $5 compared to the $7-8 I spentelsewhere. Read more

The drinks are okay, not authentic not something I would go out my way to drink. The adjustable sweetness is a nice feature... though the flavors are underwhelming. If you get boba I have to tell you the tapioca pearls here are not that great. Veryinconsistent in size and texture. Some are tiny, some are big, some are soft and some are very chewy or hard. You won't get bobain every sip because they all stick together in one lump at the bottom of your cup (picture attached) they don't taste goodeither. I come here on occasion to study or read and it's a great cozy environment for that, but overall when I'm craving reallygood boba I go down the street to the one next to HEB. Read more

First time trying out a Boba tea. The girl taking my order was very kind and explained what a Boba Tea was and helped me make a... decision. It was the best thing I've had in a while, and the atmosphere was marvelous. I'm from out of town but I'll definitelycome back just to come here! Read more

Lovely shop with some of the most natural tasting boba that I?ve had. They are clean flavors and don?t taste artificial like so... many other boba shops I?ve tried. We ordered six drinks in total for our family and everyone loved them. No complaints! Also,I loved the sweet verse in the ladies room. It?s always good to encourage one another!! Very kind staff was helpful and quickwith our large order. We will definitely be back soon!! Highly recommend!! Read more
