It was our first time here,we went on a Monday and it was so much fun. I wish I can upload the videos we took of the place but... it isn't allowing me. It was slow,not too many ppl,which was good,way more space to float around. I heard weekends it gets jampacked. Parking is somewhat of an issue,you can park inside( if it's available)or outside,still not far from the place. We tooka some large tin can jugs for our drinks,no cans or glass allowed in the river. We got charged the day pass and float,they havecabanas there for rent as well,for large groups. But there's other small tables and chairs around there that are free,you canchill and sit around. They have an are were you can float around or just stand in the water and chill,there's a rope at the endwhere I guess it separates or ends that section where you can just chill...but on the other side is where you can start floatingdown the river. It's like 1-2 hour float. Which was so nice and chill. *Word of caution* leave your ID with the staff,that's howthey know your still out there,because we tried calling them after a mini panic of where the heck we were gonna get off and noone answered. So just be on the lookout for signs. They have shuttles that pick you up at the end of river and take you back.But it's an awesome place to go and chill and drink and just relax. New Braunfels is has always provided an an exceptional experience. Unfortunately my last visit was not so great. The male staff... members were rude and inhospitable, particularly the boy with braids and the gold rimmed "John Lennon" glasses along with hismanager with the hockey haircut. They expressed how difficult their job is and harrassed me and my group. 10/10 will never beback here unless they make staff adjustments. Plenty of other places in NB to have a good time. Read more
