Wow, what an awesome piece of history. Billed as the oldest Dancehall in Texas, I can certainly believe it looking at the... floors and rest of the decor. Fiest time visiting this old dance hall. Really neat how it has been preserved and how it still maintains some pretty great... shows. I will say it was incredibly busy at the venue and definitely is a hot tourist spot. Will have to be back and see morewhen I get time. Excellent place to visit overall! Read more

Very quaint great atmosphere venue. Live music is always a plus! It was a bit hot with no ac and only ceiling fans but they do... offer free cold ice water. It was still a great experience. Nice shops and restaurants around. Read more

Amazing! If you?re looking for a family friendly event, Two Ton Tuesdays at Gruene Hall! It?s fun, enjoyable and a great time!... All ages are welcome. Also, if you?d like to do the swing dance lesson it?s $10 starting at 6:30pm, after you?ll be escorted outand pay $8 for the concert. They play from 8:30 to 10:30pm.
