Well I spent a decent amount of money and was craving clam strips. Well they were soggy and still griddy.The tartar sauce was un... usable as it was tanish and you couldnt even use it I held the small container upside down and not one drop came out ????. So wedecided to make our own, the new England clam chowder was very good but other then that definitely not worth the money. Read more
Went this past Saturday. Place wasn't busy at all. First three things I wanted they didn't have. I then asked what was available... and received an attitude. Told my order would take 10minutes. Waited 20 minutes. Another patron pulls and goes inside, placesan order. His is done in minutes. Guy gets his food and I'm told my food will be out shortly. 45 minutes we waited for an easyorder. Cape cod prices for trash seafood. Batter on the fish was horrible and fish was tiny. Shrimp was ok . Best thing aboutthe meal was the fries. Terrible onion rings . Don't waste your time! Will go back soon!!!!! I went here for lunch with a friend for the first time to try it out, see how the food was. I had the... lobster grilled cheese with onion rings which was suggested by Rose, who does all of the cooking, and it was delicious! Grilledperfectly, golden brown with a nice portion of lobster and cheese. The onion rings were the thin kind which are hard to come byand my favorite, not the thick sliced which most places sell. They were golden and crunchy. The coleslaw is also made in houseand was crisp and fresh, very good. My friend had the clamstrip basket with fries, coleslaw and tater sauce which is also madethere, so good. The claims tasted so fresh I could not believe it, awesome. Carmen was out server and she and Rose were bothwonderful, helpful and we had a great conversation with them ???? My friend also ordered stuffed clams to go for her boyfriendwho had been there before and loves them. Rose said she makes them with fresh chopped clams and their on house stuffing, theylooked delicious. Wish I took some pictures, next time. As far as the decor, the tables and chairs were a bit flimsy, the cupswere small plastic, and forks, etc were plastic, plastic serving baskets for the food, a soda machine with water, no unsweetenedtea or hot tea, kind of like a seafood take out/eat in at the beach without the ocean and beach decor but the food and thepeople who work there make up for most of those shortcomings. *They should have unsweetened tea and hot tea, those are staples.
