The food here, especially for the price, is exceptional. Our orders were perfectly done, and the sides we had were delicious.... Our server was fantastic, checking in on us without being intrusive. The atmosphere, which I would describe as peaceful andmuted, is just what I want for an intimate meal. LBV Steakhouse will definitely continue to be a regular visit. Read more

Nice atmosphere and pretty good service. However, the food is mediocre at best. I ordered a ribeye which was so tough I could... not cut it. This is the second time I have had steak here and I would not recommend the steaks or the seafood. Shrimp cocktailwas sub par as well. I’m pretty sure whatever they served us was not ribeye. The only items I would recommend are the chickenand or the veal scaloppini, baked potato, mashed. Avoid the truffle potatoes. Bread was delicious. This could be such a niceplace if it were well managed. Read more

I have been dining at LBV for a number of years and I am NEVER disappointed in the food or the service. The bar is small.but... they serve excellent cocktails. Great wine list also. Jeremy, who manages the restaurant and his staff do an outstanding job.Great atmosphere and service! I can't believe they get any bad reviews! Great place and I highly recommend it. Read more

My other half and I ate here last night around 730p. Darren, Derrick.. something of that nature was our waiters name. Very... disappointed w our service and food. Ordered water to drink, had to ask 3xs for a refill. Completely ignored us and pd moreattention to the larger party sitting in the back of the room behind us. Many times walking right past us leaving dirty dishes, unfilled water glasses and items he forgot. We asked for a simple side of olive oil to have w our bread.. butter and a smallsample of habernero butter. We had to ask 3xs for all items..and his response was, ohh I forgot. After we finished dinner wour airline chicken and chicken w lemon and capers..which was dry as hell, our dirty dishes remained on the table. He finallycame around to ask if we wanted dessert. He dropped our check WITH THE DIRTY DISHES STILL ON THE TABLE. No prebus or anything. At a fine dining restaurant that is NOT the protocol. Even at ANY restaurant a good server knows that is soo taboo. We hadour money waiting on the table..after 10 more minutes and he walking right past us to cater to the big party.. we left our billw cash and tip. We intended on giving him a higher tip but after being ignored and not getting change to leave a bigger amountwe left him 15%. He lost out! Staff, especially him needs to learn to be attentive and offer guests 5 star treatment besideslearning the steps to take for a restaurant. Poor service and poor food. Won't be back. It's a shame too.
