The food pretty good, but we had to flag someone down to get waited on. It is a cool, old fashioned bar with murals from the... early 1900s and a nice local feel. Read more
Friends and I stopped here for lunch after time spent at the New Glarus Brewery. The friendly staff seated us right away. I had... the smoked turkey sandwich. It was served with just the right amt if lettuce, tomato, and onion so that I could pick it up andbite into it without having the insides fall out and make a mess. Initially, I was given extra napkins at my request, andhappily, they weren't needed. Friends enjoyed/loved the delicious chili in a bread bowl. Great atmosphere and staff. The storyof the dollar bills attached to the ceiling, until they are removed and donated to charity, was interesting and fun. We are fromIllinois and will return on our next visit. Read more
Came here after a New Glarus Brewing tour to have a free beer and lunch. Didn't disappoint. Our California medley soup was... delicious and my chicken salad sandwich was maybe the best I've ever had at a restaurant. Good friendly service. Read more

Stopped in for lunch, had the BBQ Pork Sandwich, apple slaw,and chips. I was surprised to learn they have no grill or deep... fryer. The menu is somewhat limited,however I learned they get their meat from Hosley's just down the street, and the pulledpork was excellent.
