I ordered the matcha tea. It was terrible. It?s tasted like toothpaste, and I had to wait for 30 minutes (there were no people... at all). All I?m saying, is that there are a bunch of bubble tea stores nearby, just take the 3 minutes to walk there. It willbe worth it. Read more
This is my favorite boba spot in New Haven. The place is consistent and has a large menu (almost overwhelming). Every drink is... customizable to your liking so please don't say you don't like boba just based off one drink! Passionfruit QQ and flaming brownsugar are my go to's. It never misses!!! They also have poke bowls (delicious) and macarons (DELICIOUS). If it's your firsttime, you should let them know and they can help you find a drink that you can enjoy. Read more
I have yet to have found a decent boba spot until I've found Vivi. This is honestly the best boba experience I've had in... Connecticut and it's not even close. I ordered an Espresso Macaroon with Oreo Creme Boba tea and it paired amazingly. The OreoCreme tasted like drinking heaven through a straw and the macaroon was light and gentle to eat and had the perfect amount ofespresso. Make sure you give them your special instructions when you order because they will NOT change it once they start making your... drink. I forgot to mention no sugar and I told her when she was in the middle of making the drink. They refuse to remake it eventhough I told them I have diabetes. So I let them finish making the drink and Toss it right in the trash. Mediocre bubble teataste with higher price range. Granted, it's in New Haven but I would much rather get a drink from Starbucks.
