After living in New Hyde Park for almost a decade and never stopping by this diner, I finally went here with friends last night.... Let me tell you... the food was amazinggg it all tasted so fresh . We got the empanadas and I got the gyro platter. I'm not surewhy people are complaining about the price when the competing diners charge just as much and prices have increased everywhere(sadly). The service was phenomenal. The waitress was super sweet and accommodating. Food came out quick and we were askedseveral times if we needed something. This diner is adorable on the inside as it's small but can fit quite a few parties. Can'twait to go back here! Read more

We ordered takeout and got matzo ball soup and burgers and fries. The matzo ball soup was 5.95 cents and had one matzo ball in... it the size of a golf ball. I called to ask if that was always the case and the woman who answered said yes. I said thank youbecause I won?t be ordering again. Seriously 5.95 for a tiny matzo ball? Great Place! We ordered breakfast. Poached eggs w bacon home fries and toast & Pancakes with Bacon. Everything was delicious,... food was served quickly, staff was extremely friendly and attentitive. This was such a good spot to eat. The vibe was exactly what you want in a diner. Nostalgic decor, AMAZING staff. My sandwich was... great, and those fries were cooked to perfection. Perfectly crisp.
