The stairs were steeper than we are used to. The room was nice. It was close enough to Gedney Farm to walk to the wedding.
Absolutely worth the drive to get to this fabulous dining experience. Tucked away and cozy. Everything on the pre fixe menu... sounded delicious. It was hard to choose. We both loved every bite. This has been the highlight of our Berkshires weekend gateway! A far away restaurant but definitely worth the trip. The building... itself is a charming and cozy American inn decorated with lots of barrels and wooden, stylish design. My favorite touch was thefact that our candlelight dinner was served outdoor, adding to an already excellent atmosphere. Service was not notch. You canfeel that everyone was enjoying the meal and all the waiters and bartenders really take pride in their skills. Regarding thefood - They obviously put a lot of thought into the menu. All the dishes we tried were marvelous. It?s a 3 courses menu, withone appetizer, one main, and one dessert l. We got the salmon and cod as main dishes, with burrata and lobster pasta as firstcourse.
