Incredible food and service from our server, Skip made our experience here amazing. Skip had excellent recommendations for us... and was attentive and quick with his service. Food was decadent and delicious. 100% recommend. Read more
Great place for fancy pants steaks. Wear a suit / nice dress. Wine list was massive. We ordered a few appetizers which were... delicious, including potatoes/eggplant and escargot. Wow. How have I missed out on finding this place until now?! At Jackson Square, an artist suggested that we try Galatoire?s. I... highly suggest that you do too. From walking in the door, we were greeted kindly and were led into the dining room and allowedto choose whichever table we wanted. The service just kept getting better, being served by Martine. Her suggestions were onpoint. Some of my family members had the daily selection of fish, while I enjoyed the crab au gratin. The best way I candescribe the crab au gratin is a creamy mac and cheese, but sub the macaroni for crab meat. So delicious. I couldn?t stoppinching off a piece of the French loaf and spooning portions onto it. The desserts were also amazing. We tried the key limetart and black bottom pecan pie. I went there twice after it being highly recommended. I had the foie Gras and the toast on the bottom was overwhelmingly sweet,... and the only dessert wines available were twice the price of the dish. I had to try the green oysters, and I not impressed. Isaw some amazing other dishes, but I ate the whole time I was in NOLA, so I just tried to find unique things. I wouldn't ordereither again, but it was nice to find an upscale place in the heart of debauchery! Read more

For my entree I got the trout almandine which was perfectly cooked and just the right amount of almonds andsauce.
