Disappointing, definitely not a cocktail bar. Came in early Saturday evening and ordered a couple of classic cocktails off the... menu, expecting well made drinks. The bartender made them with the same care as a gin and tonic. After a haphazard pour, sheswirled the cocktail shaker for a couple of seconds and then poured. All the drinks were made this way by 4 differentbartenders, including a cocktail (French 75) that wasn't even chilled. It may sound like nitpicking, but this is a high-end barattached to one of the most famous high-end restaurants in a cocktail focused city. I expected much better. I have to say this is absolutely my favorite place to hang out in all of the French quarter. The wait staff are some of the best... I?ve ever come across and the owners aren?t too shabby themselves. I want to thank Hermes bar and Antoine?s for always providingme with excellent memories and experiences. Read more
Best food in the quarter! I was traveling alone and the staff was great company, they really had me laughing. I've also had... escargot all over this country and nothing is more authentic than this dish, so tender and savory. They also don't charge an armand a leg for good champagne, which was refreshing! I will definitely be back next time I'm in New Orleans! Read more
