This place was a gem. Their food was amazingly delicious. I had the Eggs Cochon Bennie, it was like heaven. The egg was made to... perfection. This ruby slipper cafe was a little hard to find, but once you leave the parking lot, the outdoor experience and amazing amount... of seating and decorations made us feel welcome. We had a bigger group and we got a great table and our server was beyond sweetand hilarious. After the meal, our server went out of their way during the rush to give us recommendations about the city. Woulddefinitely come to this location compared to the ones in the city center as the wait time was greatly reduced! Read more

It is... specifically brunch and closes at 2pm on weekdays and 3 pm on weekends (holidays vary). The staff is always friendly andaccommodating, weekends can have between 45-1hr wait to be prepared. I usually always get the shrimp and grits that come loadedwith no-tail shrimp! My favorite appetizer is the fried green tomatoes with romoulade sauce.
