Awesome restaurant with QUALITY food. Superb burger ( see pic). I love the new bourbon! It was awesome sitting out in the cooler... weather with all the families and locals enjoying the October weather Friday night. Owner is hands on and service waspersonable, friendly and super attentive and kind. Reasonably priced. Read more

Was having a great time eating and having a few drinks outside while catching up with some old friends while all of our children... ate and played outside. So long story short the kids wanted snowballs from the stand across the street as they don't offer anytype of dessert on their menu so we figured it won't be an issue. So a couple of the parents took the kids to get snowballsand came back since we were still having drinks and running up our tabs. Well as the parents and kids were coming back themanager on duty came out and told us that snowballs were not allowed on the premise at all and he had to strictly in force therule. After some discussion the reasoning was the owner doesn't want ants. That is somewhat of a fair point but there are verysimple things that can be done to prevent that. If a spill was to happen (which with young kids a good chance it would happen)spray a bleach/water solution on the area after cleaning it up. And a whole other list of things that doesn't evolve usingpoison. I completely understand the manager was simply doing what his boss wants and he was nice about it and the rest of thestaff was great while we were there but that put a damper on the whole vist. Plus the main reason we chose this place wasbecause they used to have a playground area for kids but come to find out they did away with to make room for a microdistillery. The staff was really friendly, the food is slightly above average and the place is no longer kid friendly. Read more

The playground has been removed, which was the only real reason to go here, and the staff has been quite rude to customers about... it. This used to be a family friendly place, designed for bringing kids. Overnight, this restaurant transformed into a placethat seems open hostile to families & kids. The play area is gone, there are a bunch of signs in the former play area saying?all children must be seated at all times!!!? One employee said they are trying to change their approach, away from a familyrestaurant, to a draw people for Saints game. The food is excessively mediocre and there are few beverage (beer) choices. Idon?t know what drove the owners to this change to drive away their main clientele, but I?m guessing they are going to be out ofbusiness within months. Read more

I'm a huge fan of the backyard but the prices for the kids meal is high! $12 for chicken nuggets and 10 tater tots. Inflation is... one thing but not sure if this is justified. Read more
