Absolute gem of a find. There were a lot of places to choose from when looking for a spot that looked like they had good food... and good coffee. Something about this place got my attention. The menu is very interesting. I think the puff pancake balls gotmy attention first. I had cold brew and it was so good. It was strong but not annoyingly strong. Someone else had a chai latteand they said it was great as well. Now the food, everything we had was great. Large portions, fresh, and very tasty. The guysin the kitchen are cranking out some amazing food. The chicken and waffles were very good, the grits were great (I added butterand honey), the biscuits were very good, and all the eggs we had were really good. Very nice an intimate place for brunch! A group of four sat in about 45 min on a Saturday around 11am. We didn?t get our text... but we checked back with the host and she stated out table was ready. I enjoyed a BLT with fried egg. It was perfect! Also hadmimosas with our group with various juices very tasty. Note you can?t spilt. Checks during busy times(so they pick and chooselol) but wasn?t an issue. Friend said the bathroom wasn?t the cleanest. Read more
Emotional. That?s how I felt when I put that chicken in my mouth. I never tasted something so good I felt like crying. I know I... sound dramatic but it?s true. It was so good. Hands down the best breakfast I've had all year. Cannot recommend the toast with the prosciutto, ricotta, and honey enough. The... potatoes were perfectly cooked. The pancakes with lemon curd and the lemonade was absolutely divine. Flawless from start tofinish. Cannot recommend enough since it completely justified a six-hour trip to NOLA on its own. Read more
