Great restaurant in beautiful church. Great outdoor seating too. We went there for breakfast. The blueberry waffles were... delicious and the portions very generous. Super friendly staff and great atmosphere. Read more
It was my first time dining here and I won’t be back. The air conditioner was out so it was 85 degrees in here. I had Brussels... sprouts and the Mexican street corn hush puppies as appetizers. Should’ve listened when the waiter said not to do the Mexicanstreet corn hush puppies. I would not recommend. I had the shrimp and grits and it was good. My friend had the steak andpotatoes and idk what was up with the steak but it tasted horrible. She sent it back and when it came back, it still tastedhorribly. She called the manager over and told him and he instantly told her, “We tasted the first steak and nothing was wrongwith it,” with the worst attitude. So he said, “I’ll just take it off!” And stormed off. With that kinda service, wewon’t be back. Mind you after the first steak he sent champagne as an apology but he came back with a bad attitude when shesaid the steak still was bad. Then a gnat was flying around and landed in her food! I'd like to give me than 3 stars simply because the atmosphere and uniqueness of VESSEL. Unfortunately, the service and food... was subpar. We recognize they've had turnover and brought on a new sous chef, and changed up the menu. That's all good but theywere out of a lot of main foods i.e. chicken, scallops, pork chops. Ended up with just the market fish and shrimp & grits tochoose from. Had to fill up on appetizers. Service was incredibly slow. Food came out cold and underdeveloped. Lentils tastedlike undercooked beans. Only got one water and it wasn't refilled in the 2 hours we were there. I'd ask - but the waiter nevercame back with it. I'm sure this place is good when firing on all cylinders - but for our visit, it was frustrating and a letdown. Read more
We have found our church. This place was fantastic. We began with cocktails made by Kent. The pink lady that my spousal unit... had, we are still trying to recreate. My 2 old fashions were one or 2 of the best I've had in my Old Fashioned career. Andthen there was food, which was good. Read more

Last time I was here it was Christians, a previous church. We had brunch. The food was very good also the service was... excellent. It’s handicap accessible with parking on the side. We did not have reservations and were seated immediately. Thevegetable frittata was delicious. The only problem it was thin and not filling. I should have gotten sides or app with it. Read more
