Great little place. Service is good, everyone is very friendly. Clean table coverings, removed after each patron finishes. Food is served hot and very tasty. We have dined here several times and have always had a good experience. Only, negative is the place is small and when filled it is a bit noisy. But great food and service and good prices overweight the noisy room.
Not sure if the business has changed hands but the food was terrible last night. 6/16/22. We got chicken Alfredo that tasted like butter noodles and chicken . The Chicken ranch sub was edible because of the bread being decent. The kids Hamburger was a hit so one positive thing but this place is just Not recommended by us any longer. Sorry guys prices are to high to be an Italian restaurant and not have a good chicken Alfredo ?
California Cheesecakes & Chicken Caesar salads are my go-to at Gallos. Best subs you?ll get in town. They make their own bread which elevates the experience. ??
Once again, Gallo's has done an amazing job!! Lunch consisted of a 2 topping personal pizza (mushrooms & onions), and their soup & sandwich special (Italian Wedding soup & half cheeseburger sub) Delicious! ??????????
I think this is typically a nice restaurant to visit from what I have heard, but this Christmas Eve was a disappointment. It was only my second time there & only a couple people at other tables at arrival. They did not tell us it was a hour & a half wait for a pizza when we arrived. After waiting 40 minutes, I finally asked how much longer because we wanted to attend the local church service. We had allowed a hour & a half for the restaurant so we would not be rushed or late, which we were in the end. My only complaint is that if there is a long wait, customers should be informed at the door. We deserve the right to decide if we want to wait or not. Even after telling the waitress that she should have told us that at the beginning, she seemed to not really care. In waiting for her to get a box, I went to the counter & asked the owner for a to go cup of sauce, just to speed things up a bit, and he told me to ask the waitress, who was now answering the phone holding our box. I had to take things into my own hands & retrieve the box so we could get things packed up. I understand things get busy & it was a holiday, but if I had known in advance, I would have called in a to go order because that was priority to them that night. Being in the restaurant business myself for over 12 years, I can say this is not a well oiled machine during busy times. Communication with your customers is very important. It is not worth taking their money that night under false pretenses just to get bad reviews and no service from them in the future. Ironically, I do not discourage you from visiting this restaurant, just know in advance that wait times may be longer than it appears.
The most excellent service and delicious food. I had a wonderful white pizza customized to my preferences and the cheese cake, oh yum.
Tonight my husband and I went for dinner. Salad and bread sticks came with our entree. But we had antipasto freddo as an appetizer. Wow it was big! Very tasty. My husband had the spaghetti Allo Scoglio which was spaghetti with scallops, shrimp, mussels and clams in a light marinara sauce. I had a little taste and it was good. I had the Veal Parmesan. I wanted my veal to have light sauce on it. But the came out smothered in sauce. The young lady there took it back and had it was remade without sauce. Which I asked for. The dish was so very good along with the spaghetti. They do give you a lot of food. There was leftovers to be enjoyed at another time. Probably for lunch. They really care for their customers and it was excellent after I got my dish corrected. We will be back.
Good local italian food. Reasonable prices and good service. Fresh bread good pizza and bolis. Other good stuff on the menu too. Tonight I had the Pasta ala Gallo which was a baked pasta in bolognese sauce with cheese. I loved the rich meaty sauce. There was plenty that my pasta didn't dry out but it wasn't drowned in it either. My wife had the chicken parmesan. She likes the bright fresh tomatoey yet not overly acidic red sauce they serve. With garlic bread and tossed salads, we always enjoy eating here.
