This place is around the corner from me. I always bring my friends here. It is one of the better bars around. They have... hookah which is not for me. The brings are good. The bouncers and everyone there are good to go. That said, a few things. There are days where the crowd feels different and that can be touch and go. I walk by from time to time to see the vibe. Thatcan be just appearances or it could be a thing. The second this was that you need to hookah to get a table. We came in with 5people clearly more than just hang out at the bar. I had a friend come in from DC, CA, Brooklyn, they started to give us a hardtime about taking a table if we weren't going to hookah. They told us if someone else came we would have to give us the table.Even after we ordered food. It never happened but it was weird having that hanging over us. Social has some pretty tasty drinks. I suggest the ?Social Caribbean?, if you don?t mind sweetness? it?s my go-to order... ????! They play a lot of Hispanic music which is why they lose a star? having a larger mix of music would be more fun to jam outto. Soca and reggae are my faves, I would def give 5 stars if I heard more of that! Read more
Great music and atmosphere but when I went with friends this past weekend the bartender was very rude and disrespectful. Pretty... much forced us out of the door. Can?t see myself going back because of that experience. Read more
