We stopped by on a Friday afternoon - the woman who greeted and cooked for us was wonderful and kind, she accommodated our crazy... toddler and was very sweet. The food was delicious and generously portioned, warm tortilla chips, tasty guacamole, and ourentrees were perfect. Read more

Worst ever. Should have known when 7pm Saturday night and there's one customer beside me. Tiny menu. Burrito was missing... lettuce, tomatoes, onions, beans, cheese, guac.... filled with meat and some gross thing I think was cheese. Two bitestrash Charged full price when obvious I ate none. A graduate-level course on not judging a book (restaurant) by its cover (entrance). If you're looking for grandiose ambiance,... eye-pleasing decor, and average food, go somewhere else. If you care more about the food than the decoration, put your forkingphone down and go to Talavera. You will not be disappointed. The proportions are typical "American Size" so you will not leavehungry. If you get the nachos, be prepared to take food home or come with an empty belly and a Joey Chestnut-sizedappetite. Their food is freshly prepared to order, and the ingredients are fresh and flavorful as well. It's truly afamily-owned and operated business, and you're quite likely to see the kids being helped with their homework, which to me isjust an added bonus. You can eat here and know that when you do, the money is staying local, and not going to some giantcorporate HQ hundreds of miles away. If you've read this far, why? Stop reading, get to eating!
