We had a wonderful time celebrating our anniversary during Restaurant Fest. We sat by the chef's counter to watch all the magic... happening in front of us. The service was warm and attentive. We appreciate the complimentary anniversary drinks and thewishes. Negroni lovers would enjoy going through the extensive Negroni drink list - our server’s recommendation wasgreat. All the dishes we picked from the restaurant fest menu were fantastic. I am not a big fan of risotto, but the one herewas cooked to perfection! The breading on the Vitello alla Milanese was so thin, and the seasoning was spot on that I couldn’tstop eating it even when I was full. Make sure you make a reservation as it is usually packed, be advised that for tables of less than 4 you will probably be seated... at the bar as the table space is limited. Loved the decoration and vibe of this section of Eataly. The service was excellent, Iwas also seated at the bar which I prefer since you can see the chefs cooking your food. I had the Uni bruschetta, first timetrying Uni, I was not blown away by it but nothing wrong with the dish itself I just don't think I would recommend it unless youalready love Uni. The ossobuco with saffron risotto on the other hand blew me away, I would come back for it in a second if Ilived in NYC. I would love them to expand their beer selection to more hard to find Italian brands, like Messina cristalli dimare or something like that to set them apart. I did enjoy my cold Peroni anyways ???? I love coming to Eataly everytime I visitNYC to try the restaurants and peruse the market, I always leave with a least a couple of cheeses LOL Read more
We made lunch reservations as this restaurant is in the center of super busy Eataly. Nice bar, casual seating, authentic... Italian. Best espresso coffee ever. Read more
I came here today for a solo happy hour dinner of an appetizer and a glass of wine. I got Arancini from the appetizer menu and... was extremely excited to try something I have only read about when learning about Italian food. I also chose a glass of Nebbioloand bottled carbonated water as a special treat. In the end, this light dinner for one cost 60 dollars after the tip. So, Ithink it is a little expensive in comparison to the food quality given that it is inside Eataly and neither the wine list northe food were absolutely stunning. A star goes away for the cost performance but two stars go away for bad guest service. Thisexperience that was supposed to be a special indulgence for me got off to a rough start thanks to the maitre d' who either has apersonality disorder that makes him think he is better than everyone else or he forgot temporarily he works inside of an Eataly.I approached the entrance to the restaurant and saw he had come back from seeing people to their table and was busily punchingsome numbers in the computer. I glanced over and assumed he was busy, so I stood directly in front of him but avoided a directgaze. The minutes drew out awkwardly until he asked me without any eye contact whatsoever, "Are you looking for a table here orsomething?" It was as if this was the hottest restaurant in NYC and not an off-peak casual dining installation that is part of aglorified food court. I elected to sit at the bar and limit my dining to an appetizer rather than a full meal because absurdsnobbery makes me lose my appetite. The bartender was respectful and his service was stylish, but it still seemed like everyonewas trying to act cooler than they really were. I probably won't be back to this place. Read more

I had a wonderful waiter by the name of Arturo, that I nickname him Papi Chulo as the night went on. He was very nice and... attentive. He surprised me with some coffee (made a bear in it)..
