Hands-down five stars! Very friendly staff. Nice ambience. And I finally found the best French dip sandwich in the country. I... know that?s a big statement. But I?ve been searching for decades. We've been to The Beach a few times over the years whenever we've visited NYC and it never disappoints. This trip was... particularly good - we had a cobb salad, chicken Milanese, spaghetti Bolognese and baked shells bechemel and they were allexcellent. The restaurant has a lovely community feel. Absolutely delicious salmon! Served on a bed of sautéed broccoli. I 100% cleaned my plate. ???? Followed up with a chocolate... brownie topped with a scoop of ice cream. The outer dining area is nice but in a louder area of the UES. I might choose to eatinside next time for a more traditional and quieter dining experience. Service was quick but not very attentive.
