What a wonderful meal in an inviting, intimate environment. This downstairs restaurant has a speakeasy decorative vibe; soft... lighting, unique decorations. The margarita pizza is a must have! The grilled salmon was a delicious, generous portion. Thepasta with lamb ragu was super tasty. The pasta with mushroom sauce was very good, too, but the sauce was a little on the heavyside for me. (I would have liked it a little creamier, but it was very flavorful.) Read more

We were nearby and were looking for Italian places to get dinner. I ended up ordering the casarecce bolognese and it was quite... delicious. For my preference, I wanted more kick to it so I added some red pepper flakes to it. My only gripe is that theyhadn't provided more bread. There isn't a physical desert menu but looks like they do provide some options there. Read more

This was my second meal at Bread and Tulips. The first was in 2017 and my son and I have raved abut it ever since. This time we... returned on his 19th birthday along with the rest of our family. everything from the salads to the wine (an excellent Sicilianred) to the tiramisu was perfect. Thank you so much to all who made this a memorable and lovely meal. We'll be back! Read more

The rooftop is gorgeous and food amazing. I recently traveled to Italy but I could easily stay in New York for some authentic... Italian pizza because it was one of the best I’d ever had. Decorum is beautiful and staff amazing. Our server was Sarah andshe was delightful. Definitely coming back for more…???? Read more

There are Italian restaurants everywhere, but this place has some items on the menu that sets it apart. I was there with a group... of 6 people, so we got to try a variety of items. The salad with hearts of palm was light, crispy, and fresh. The grilledoctopus appetizer was grilled perfectly and had a nice flavor, even though the smaller pieces were over cooked. We tried theirpizza, linguini, chicken parm, and pappardelle. Everyone was pleased with their dish. My dish was the pappardelle, and I canvouch for how delicious it was; the lamb was nicely cooked and not chewy and the sauce was light and not overly heavy. Therewere thin slices of garlic in the dish, well cooked and blending with the flavor palette. We also got a couple bottles of theMontepulciano D'Abruzzo wine, which somehow paired nicely with everything! We were also treated to a taste of a delightfuldessert wine at the end of our meals. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyed meal and visit! I would recommend this for couples, families, children. There's something here for everyone! One thing to note, unfortunately, is that, if you have trouble walkingor with stairs, it will be hard to use their restroom, which is two flights down. Read more
