A few really baked goods. Okay coffee. Got an assortment of things to try. -Iced Coffee -Black and White Cookie -Chocolate... Almond Crossaint -Spinach Bureka -Feta Bureka -Cheese Straw -chocolate rugelach The Jerusalem bagel and the Cinnamon Rolls werethe standouts from this batch. Soft and chewy and good flavor for each. The biggest letdown was the black and white cookie. They makes theirs layered with croissant dough, which may explain the price, but I prefer just to get a traditional one from agood corner bagel shop. They spend so much attention on the chocolate that I think the vanilla side is left behind. The secondbiggest letdown was the rugelach. Too airy and lacking intense chocolate goodness, especially for the price. The other bakedgoods were fine, perhaps of typical high-end bakeries, but just didn't pack a lot of flavor for the price and I wouldn'tpersonally get them again. Coffee was just average. Perhaps some items are a little overhyped, but overall if you've got thespare change to splurge here, give them a try. While rather expensive, I will eventually make it back to try the signaturebabka. Read more

A great new bakery on the upper east side. Spotlessly Clean, Very Polite Staff and amazingly good food. Their olive rolls are to... die for. Their cheese straws are light like a feather. Their scrambled egg in either a sesame or poppyseed roll is mostdelicious, and they always ask you if you would like it heated up and they wrap it in silver foil to keep it warm. I love theiravocado toast on a very thin sliced brown bread and decorated with super thinly sliced radish and watercress. They also makeelegant smoked salmon open sandwiches.on a very thin brown bread with cream cheese. Five Stars ***** They have plenty of indoor& outdoor seating. We sought out Breads Bakery for their elusive version of the black + white cookie. I say elusive because we walked all over NYC... before discovering that their upper east side location is the only one that sells it. Their take on the black + white isinteresting.. not too sweet and a cup of black coffee helps enhance the chocolate portion of the cookie. It wasn't busy at thehour we visited. There was plenty of seating. Clean. The service was friendly. The toilet in the bathroom wouldn't flush. Read more

I like that this bakery and cafe on 3rd and 74th have indoor and outdoor seating. On days when you just want to enjoy your warm... beverage outside, the seating outside is just great. This was Maison Kayser before and they seem to have carried on with thegoodness. Great pastries etc. Nothing outstanding but it is a convenient on this part of 3rd on UES. Read more
