Service with a smile is definitely... practiced here, and there were so many options for foods, beverages (hot or cold), sweet treats and more. I commute through the Port Authority daily so decided to give this place a try yesterday. My first visit will be my last. I... ordered a hot dog with sauerkraut and a can of soda and was charged $8.45. Outrageous. Also the service was unfriendly and notwelcoming at all. I predict they will be soon be out of business. Oh it?s awful. The woman at the counter, though quite nice and efficient, is a little hard of hearing so speak up and be ready... to repeat things. Breakfast: egg and cheese on a roll. Done ok, forgot salt and pepper when asked for twice. Roll is on the edgeof going stale. Also a cup of some of the worst coffee I?ve ever had. Utter swill. Literally threw it out. All this for?wait forit?$8. Really?? I thought I?d take a chance on the way to the bus, never EVER again. IF YOU?RE NEW IN TOWN: walk past this rathole and walk to the 9th Ave exit of the building. Walk out and turn right. Go up (numbers of streets go up) to Smilers, it?s upon the West side of the street. A million times better and cheaper. Read more
