Best meal I've had in my life. The service was outstanding. I got the spicy rigatoni and meatballs and couldn't believe how... delicious it was. The rigatoni wasn't too spicy but had a nice kick. For dessert I had the carrot cake and ginger ice-cream. Ireally enjoyed sitting out in the patio out front of the restaurant, great space. Can't wait to go back next time I come to NewYork! Read more
Honestly, the best part was the “free” appetizer of garlic bread, anti pasta and FRESH MOZZARELLA. I was speechless, it was... delicious and a great way to start the experience at this restaurant. Inside is really nice, had an elegant vibe and the Chinasets on the table are very unique. The servers are so nice and helped my group pick certain things off the menu. The food didtake some time to come out but this isn’t fast food, this was all done to order, you could TASTE is. The presentation andtaste was worth the wait. My group of three ordered a Caesar salad to share, spicy rigatoni and the veal Parmesan. This placedefinitely met the hype it receives but I took off one star because it’s difficult to get a reservation and it’s definitelyon the higher end of price. Again, just my opinion. I would come back here 100% for a special occasion or for when you want tofeel like a superstar :) I highly recommend coming here at least once to experience it because this lovely gem was a completeexperience I will never forget!!!!! It’s worth the hype! IF you can manage to get a reservation, DO IT! The (very) spicy rigatoni is a staple and a must try. My... favorite was the veal parmigiana - chefs kiss! I love the vibe in this place. It feels like you’re in a scene from TheGodfather. Be careful about the bread they bring out at first. It’s so good and easy to fill up on. Get the Caesar! Unfortunately I found the food to be average at best. I tried everything “must get” and I thought the best was lobster... ravioli. Best part of the meal? Bread basket. We were sitting next to the bar and there was a crowd of 15-20 standing in themiddle of the restaurant. This place is literally overrated. For how difficult the reservations are to get, I feel the foodshould also be exquisite. Italian restaurants in the area are a dime a dozen so don’t be disappointed if you “have” to goelsewhere. Took us about 3 weeks before we were able to get a reservation, and for good reason. The service is phenomenal, they always make... sure you have everything you need. The complementary appetizers are super tasty. The lobster ravioli was definitely the mostmemorable, despite all the hype around the spicy rigatoni. That’s not the say the rigatoni wasn’t good, it was. It’s justthe ravioli had a bit more going for it. Caesar salad was pretty delicious, but nothing you can’t get elsewhere.
