It’s pleasing to the eye, I liked the booths and the glass enclosed room. Excellent service by Bonnie, the managing staff is... also very attentive. As for the food, it was just ok. The appetizer was a bit over fried, my main lamb ravioli, flavorful but abit too al dente for me & needed to be warmer, the Bronzino dish was very good, deconstructed s’mores had interesting flavorsand the Natella bomboloni should be served warm. My partner and I came here to celebrate one of our birthdays. This place did not disappoint. From the moment you walk into the... front door, you are greeted with professionalism. We were escorted to our seats and were actually told to choose wherever wewanted to sit. The entire area was secluded. So we had a whole section all to ourselves.Which was lovely. Our waiter, namedLauren, who is fairly new working for the establishment, was great! She conversated with us and explained everything on themenu to us. We started off with Calamari as our appetizer. As entrées we got a Burger entree and a salmon entree. Both werevery tasty. This restaurant is definitely not just somewhere to get a quick bite to eat. Recently this month on a Saturday afternoon we came into Gatsby Landings to have a drink and appetizer before seeing a Broadway... play. We were cheerfully greeted at the door immediately and shown to a nice window table in the bar area. Menus were providedand the bartender quickly came to take our drink orders as we looked the menu. The restaurant has a nice classy feel inside andall of the staff were great. The main event for the appetizers was the Crispy Calamari. Not a crumb was remaining on theplatter when we were finished. The other appetizer ordered was the Zucchini Blossoms which was lightly breaded zucchini coveredin a lightly whipped ricotta with a touch of honey, it was full of flavor. Everything was so delicious that we decided to comeback to the restaurant after the show for dinner. Before leaving for our show, we made an evening reservation so we would knowa table would be available. When we arrived and sat at our table for dinner, the first thing we did (before looking at thedinner menu choices) was order the Crispy Calamari! The menu items are very unique here, so don’t expect this to be yourtypical dining experience. For instance, I had the Spring Lasagna which was made with homemade lasagna pasta vegetarian stylewith a delicious creamy white pesto sauce. The Spring Lasagna portion was just right but by the time I had my last bite I feltthe fullness in my stomach. Another dinner order from our group was the Branzino, a pan seared sea bass served with spinach anda wonderful sauce. The food presentations on all of our dinners were top notch. A Chef’s Pasta of that day was a simplespaghetti and meatball dinner. It was nothing simple, the homemade pasta was cooked to perfection and the fresh tomato sauceand huge meatballs were beautifully arranged in the bowl with fresh basil leaves arranged on top for decoration.
