Amazing place with a great brunch! We came with a group of 10 and they were very accommodating. The food was fantastic and were... able to tailor the spiciness level for each individual. Absolutely delicious. Super flavorful and the spice level is scaled proportionally. Everything tastes delicious, we especially... loved their lamb biryani. We came in a little on the late side but they seated us anyway with proper notice that the kitchen wasclosing soon. I also love that they are very technology enabled - as seen from my photo there is a device to notify the waiterfor water, the bill, or help. Highly recommended! Below is a detailed review on each dish. The mushroom naan is unique andtastes good, but they do struggle to make it crispy and flaky the way I expect naan to taste. This is likely due to the excessmoisture inside of the mushrooms (so this could be a point for improvement). The garlic naan on the other hand was perfect. Itwas made of actual fresh garlic which leaves a strong aroma and the texture is crispy, flakey, grilled to perfection. Thechicken tikka masala was better than most I had in the past. I liked that there was a hint of tomato base which is what tikkamasala is traditionally made with. Last but not least, the lamb biryani was my favorite. The meat cubes were well seasoned andcooked to perfection and the rice is coated with the right level spices to which I had ordered (level 4). Some Indian foodrestaurants I have been to in the past treat spice level as just heat spice, and that is not good. Imli does it right. Theyactually scale all of the spices based on the level ordered. I have dined in Many restaurants in Newyork and found this hidden gem recently. They make one of the best malai kebabs in the... town. The Chicken cubes are so juicy and fresh. Mouth watering. I am from NC but I visit NYC just to enjoy food and spend thrweekend. This is a must visit place for me whenever I am in Town. Keep up the good work Chef! Read more
