I went there in July, and I must say it’s a really cute spot. The owner was so friendly and took pictures of us, the playlist... was awesome, and of course the food( the main star) was so tasty. I had the white rice with steak and my friend tried the ricewith oxtails. We will be going back. Also, be careful with google maps, it could confuse you. Read more
First time visiting this restaurant for ladies night and was so glad this was the spot we chose. The staff were all friendly,... the music was great and the food was excellent. Our table had a variety from the steak (my favorite), oxtails and the fish. Jerkchicken and calamari for appetizers and carrot cake for dessert. Can’t wait to return for another ladies night. Want something different? We go to the Caribbean all the time and love the local food, Jasmine is as local as you can get in... NYC. We were greeted by Lloyd who was very warm and friendly, best part is he was from East NY where I was born and we hit itoff. We started with coconut shrimp, 4 very large shrimp, perfectly seasoned and fried with a delicious dipping sauce. My wifehad an excellent jerk chicken whilI had one if my favorites, Ackee and Saltfish which was out of this world. We had a side ofcallaloo which is a favorite vegetable.
