5 stars doesn?t seem enough for this SUPERB pizza place, a short walk from Times Square. The lineup was out the door, but still... moved quickly. Trust me this is worth the wait. Generous slices and you can?t beat the price of $4. The cheese slice isfantastic. Crispy, thin, yet gooey. Just perfect. Not much seating indoors, but there is a small eating area outside. My first slice of pizza in New York and it was at the iconic Joe?s Pizza. Without any point of reference for New York pizzas I... would say it was as I expected - delicious, perfectly crisp base and the ingredients used were absolutely fresh which made thewhole experience worth it! For reheated NY slices, this place delivers. The line was out the door, but not crazy. It went fast. When you go inside the... person taking orders may ask you what you want then ignore you while he pumps out a few more slices. Don't stress. He'll be backto take your order. No queue if you come early in the day, but if it?s in the night and there is a long queue - it?s totally worth even 30 minutes... wait! The pizza is cheap, and I always ask for mine to-go as they heat it up a little bit extra ???? I recommend taking thepizza across the street to the public seats and tables. I brought some industry colleagues to Joe?s after a networking party,and everyone was so impressed and happy after some drinks and smoke. Best place to go even when I?m alone and on a budget????
