I was there celebrating my retirement with my friends for brunch. They didn't tell me there was going to be a drag show! I've... never been to one before. Well, I can actually say I really enjoyed the show. Being a straight girl has never discouraged mefrom having fun with whomever. The food & drinks were delicious! Service was great! I will definitely go again. Read more

I received gift cards from my dad to go here so wasn’t getting my hopes up, even tho the menu looked right up my ally. When we... walked in it was practically no one but us - which isn’t necessarily a bad sign, and I was glad to have “private dining”.The waitstaff was super nice and attended to us quickly. Lots of wine (no hard liquor) was available and beers on tap. Weordered the carpaccio, bread and butter wine, bread for the table, mushroom pasta, and the seafood pasta. The pasta is homemadewhich really makes the difference. Everything was piping hot and had so much flavor (I do not say this lightly as an Italianwoman who loves spice). If you’re in the area, def stop in-it’s worth it ! Read more

This is an italian eatery. We selected this location because of the proximity to Washington Heights and the hours of operation... on a weekday. The server was extremely attentive. The decor is beautiful with some collections on both sides of the wall. I findtheir wine collection a bit limiting but nonetheless the wine was tasty at an affordable rate. The bread was served with thisyellow paste, which didn’t taste good. We requested some olive oil to dip our breads in for much richer taste andexperience. The food was delicious. I apologize, I did not take photos of the food but it was beautiful presented. The ambianceis great but often times the kitchen light and music are piercing through and you have two genres of music playingsimultaneously which is rather off putting. Recommend tinting the doors of the kitchen so that bright light doesn’t affect therestaurant ambiance. Bathroom is rather interesting with barn-like styled doors. Clean and spacious. I would like to return totry their other dishes and wine selections. I recommend visiting this establishment if you’re in the mood for good food andwine. Read more

Came here on a last minute Christmas Eve dinner (I was the only customer). Warm slightly toasted bread to start. It had... a fragrant oil brushed. Not the “cracker” level of toastedness. Came with a pepper/cheese spread. Nice. Got the polpo—twofat octopus legs, very tender, nicely charred, paired nicely with the tomato and potato slices. Followed with the paccheri allapescatora—definitely not stingy on the seafood. Tube pasta cooked nicely; not too firm, not mushy, but al dente with a slightbounce. Calamari—nice. Shrimp—nice. Mussels and clams—nice. All pastas are homemade! That’s a plus and I can tasteit. Finished with double espresso and tiramisu—nice. Had some white wine—second glass on the house for the holidays! Theywere sweet folks, cute ambiance, but I would’ve chose a different genre of music. It had upbeat club music…I would’ve wentwith Frank or something. They’ve been open for only 3 weeks too! Conclusion: This is a “I’d actually want to go hereagain” type of place. It’s a new-ish spot, so I’m going to take advantage of that while I can. Bing bong that’s thereview. Read more
