High-quality sushi place located in Chelsea New York. A bit pricey but you definitely get really high-quality fish we got an... assortment of sushi and hand rolls which were excellently portion and incredibly fresh. The crispy rice with tuna on top wasbetter than most places I?ve had it which is a huge win for momoya. The service was solid along with the atmosphere. This placedoesn?t accept reservations. Momoya is a very lively, up beat and great SUSHI dining experience. We visited this past Saturday for a late dinner and was... seated after 15 minutes wait given we did not have a reservation. It?s not a very spacious restaurant and dining tables are abit on the smaller side. The glass of sake I had was smooth and flavorful with hints of fruit and a nice odor. However it?s alighter drink with respect to alcohol content. We enjoyed our sushi rolls and will be visiting again to try different rollsgiven they were all delicious. The ceviche and miso soup were tasty as well. We did have both chicken entrees which werenothing exceptional but it seems Momoya is more of a sushi spot. The service can use improvement given the volume of guests ona Saturday night. Our waitress didn?t check in with us other than taking our order. Our next visit will hopefully be with areservation and hopefully with better service. Read more
Momoya Sushi, Please! ???????? As a lover of sushi, I really enjoyed this place. The customer service was great and the food was... incredibly fresh. I enjoyed the Dragon Roll, the Yellowtail Ceviche and the Lobster Tacos. Everything was so good. I woulddefinitely come back here again. Read more
Went to this restaurant with my friends unexpectedly, but I was glad that we did. We ordered Momoya bento box (salmon teriyaki),... Eel on rice, and another thing which I don?t remember the name. Also, we got our favorite plum drink that cost $57 for the bigbottle. Food were yummy and the service was awesome. We did spend some times after the check but no one rushed us to leave therestaurant. Came on a Friday night around 5:30pm. No reservations needed. Seated right away with no wait. Staff was very friendly. Servers... were attentive and personable. The ambiance is chill and has a nice relaxing vibe. I ordered the miso soup and lobster springrolls. Both were served hot, fresh, and very flavorful. Highly recommend. My friend ordered the red crab California roll and thecrunchy salmon roll. Both were absolutely delightful and served fresh. The sake we ordered came highly recommended by theserver. Great choice!
