surprisingly good restaurant! One of limitation of our group this time was one of my friend is vegetarain so restaurant we go... has to have vegetarian option and Nerai has it. I have tried all food, vegie and regular and they were great! quality andservice was professional and wonderful. We had salad, drinks, pasta, duck, coffee and dessert. There were a construction andsmell near by so they moved us to sit in different table to avoid the unpresented smell. The vibe is good. I have a mix feelingbetween tourist spot and local spot because this place is in a tourist area but for me as a resident I still go because I wasshopping in the area and just want to find some nice place to eat. Delicious upscale Greek restaurant! Has a unique menu with authentic food. Highly recommend the pulled short rib pasta and the... lamb. The lobster pasta is also delicious with squid ink. You won't have a bad meal here! Read more
Nerai is good, with a wide variety of options on their dinner menu. We ordered the zucchini chips, the chicken, and the squid... ink pasta. The chips were good, the pasta was okay, and the chicken was exceptional. While the food was good, their service wasslow, and the food was very expensive. While we enjoyed our visit, we didn't return on this trip to NYC, even though our hotelwas across the street. Read more
Very rare to find a restaurant that has 5/5 service and food. Modern Greek cuisine. Indoor and outdoor (seating area) decor... transforms you out of the city from the moment you walk in. Service was very on point. Our server was very attentive, gave goodrecommendations and checked on us every time with a smile. We felt welcomed and not rushed. We got the grilled octopus (tenderand flavorful), zucchini chips (delicious and table fave!), fried cheese, Brussel sprouts (this was recommended by our server,this was one of the best Brussel sprouts I've had - next time i come back I'm getting 2), aged steak and lamb were both cookedwell and not overcooked. Must leave room for dessert. The yogurt sundae (recommended by server) was our fave. There were a lotof flavors that blended very well together in one bite. The yogurt trio each had a unique taste that was very easy todistinguish. We came on a Sat night and had reservations for 530pm (perfect time if you're able to go early as the restaurantwas busy but not packed yet). Read more

Honestly i was disappointed. This place was in my saved to visit places in Google and i was so excited about it. However doesn't... really matching the pictures in internet to start from there. Drinks was nothing to excited. I tried ginger margarita and wasok. Food - menu doesn't offer much authentic Greek dishes. Some of the dishes was really weird... you can not find them inGreece. I guess they start you with bread - not us personally. We try bunch a appetizers and desserts. The one that tasted greatand remind me of Greece was the octopus. We try meatballs, pita, lamb, traditional greek stuffed dessert, pinna cotta,baklava. We sit on the bar and service was not as expected - just not enough attention.
