We paid more than $200 for a steak that wasn’t ready and dry at some area , and tasted really not good. The deserts were... awful. Bottom line we paid more than $400 on that evening , and we liked only the French fries. Definitely not going back thereand don’t recommend . The service was amazing though and nice place to sit. I’ve been going to Carne for about 3 years now and it’s one of my favorite restaurants in NYC. It has a big beautiful open... dining room with quite a bit of space in between tables. The dishes were excellent! The bolognese was super flavorful. The service was extraordinary and the staff very friendly and... polite, though I waited a bit too long for my table at the bar. The bartender was very sweet and helped us order some goodcocktails, so it ended up working out.
