Excellent Indian food here! I?m south Asian and this is my favorite cuisine, and I would bring my parents to this place, if that... tells you how good it is. Server verbally confirmed halal meat. The Balti Tamarind Lamb Curry was my favorite, so flavorful. TheChicken Makhani (butter chicken) was great, a little sweet. We didn?t try the Purana Delhi ka Butter Chicken, because it hasbone-in meet whereas the makhani is boneless. The naans were all excellent, mango lassi top tier. All portion sizes were good, service good too. I will be back here to try the menu! Read more

GO FOR LUNCH SPECIAL. When you go for lunch, get a lunch special! This comes with a smaller entree portion but also comes with... rice, naan, and a side of dal (lentils). All for just $14-15! We were in a big group and some of us did regular entrees andsome did lunch specials. The matar paneer (cheese and peas in a thick sauce) is great, but I do wish they gave morepaneer. Their achari bhindi (dry fried okra with onions and peppers) is also really good, however I do think they use too manybell peppers which makes this dish pretty bitter. I would definitely ask for less or no bell peppers. The garlic naan is decent- nothing to be amazed at. And the rice is also good - we?ll seasoned and simple. If I was to come here again, like Imentioned at the very beginning, I would get the lunch special! Read more

Stumbled upon this great place while I was in NYC. The food was delicious!! We got the Palak Chaat, Lasooni Gobi, Malai tandoori... Mushroom , Veg Mughalai Biryani and Ras Malai. While everything tasted absolutely amazing! The Biryani was a little spicy forme. The service was fast and the places is open until 11:30. Read more

Good Indian food with plenty of options from both North India and South India. Quantities are good, prices are decent and... flavors are authentic but a bit more subtle than homemade. Their spicy is spicy for even people who were brought up in India,so unless you are ready with some lassi on the side, get medium or mild. Our favorite dishes (including over multiple takeouts)were the chicken chettinad (really spicy) and chicken biryani. Mean moilee (coconut based fish curry) was good but could havehad more flavor.
