Had dinner with my sister and a group of runners yesterday night. They had to load up on carbs for the marathon and i wanted to... spend some time in a cozy environment that offers gluten free options. The place is very nice, you can totally tell that lightsand decor are curated in detail. The only reason why I'm giving just 3 stars is the overall confusion that my order of glutenfree pasta created. As far as we understood, along the line there was a switch of plates and i ended up having regular pasta infront of me. the first bite is all it took to 1) realize that the texture was "not right" and 2) set alarm off and stop eatingall along. My table expressed their concerns to the Manager (not avoiding gluten as a trend, btw, I'm allergic for real) and hehandled the incident extremely well; had my order re-cooked and sincerely apologized several times Long story short, didn'thave the immediate reaction but woke up at 4 am with full stomach cramps and and the usual migraine, bloating, nausea and allthat jazz I was confident on the restaurant itself as i have already dined in another location and the experience wassatisfying; will give them another try, probably avoiding the gluten free options and switching to seafood or a salad(restaurant was almost at capacity and as much as i understand how hectic Saturday services can be in the City, food allergiesshould be treated with a tad of extra attention) Read more

I was surprised at how fresh the pasta was in the lasagna I had in this Italian restaurant. I can almost still feel it melting... in my mouth like butter. No matter which pasta you get, you'll surely lick your fingers afterward (haha). Also, I loved thevibes of the place. Read more

Horrible. Ordered one drink of Bombay Sapphire (Gin). I watched him pour it / make it. Paid $20 normal city price no problem.... Until this AM … I ended up in the hospital with a migraine and chills because I had an allergic reaction, I’m allergic tovodka! SMH Paid $20 for whatever they put in the bottle to get me sick. DO BETTER! As someone who works in food and beverages, this is deplorable! Stop putting cheap liquor in expensive bottles. Makes me question the kitchen ethics and protocols. Neveragain. Read more

Anyone who knows me knows that I love to dine and write honest reviews about restaurants. I have written over four hundred... reviews. I have dined in thousands of restaurants and I never sent back a meal or drink, primarily because if it isn’t too badI don’t complain. However, Serafina is the exception. This was my first time at Serafina and I wasn’t impressed at all. Theappetizers were salty and the cocktails were watered down. You would think that the food would be better because of theirbranding and the hype built on social media—the experience was mediocre. Do yourself a favor and go to Little Italy. Thank melater.
