The Strip House is an all-time favorite of mine, here in NYC and in Las Vegas. Whenever I visit, I know what to expect and they... deliver consistently. The place is what you would expect an old-fashion steakhouse to be: velvety, leathery, dim-lighted,reddish, and sexy. As usual, food was superb: steaks, although took longer than usual, were flawlessly cooked, as well as theside dishes. This time we did not have any appetizers since we were looking forward to leaving no trace of our steak nor fromour dessert, which of course was The Strip House’s signature chocolate cake. I have not much left to say about The StripHouse. If anything, I might say that the location and the service felt like slipping a little bit. An old-fashion look must notmean worn-out, and service needs to be solicitous, especially when steaks took longer than usual; nearly an hour!!! Read more
Excellent restaurant, on par with most top steakhouses in the city, everything was delicious even the waitress's recommendations... of appetizers sides and wine were all great. Came in on a Sunday night so restaurant was mostly empty but service was stillexcellent. Minor critiques would be the sides aren't as broad as some other steakhouses but everything we got was delicious. Thesteaks were cooked perfectly but it could've done with a little bit less pepper, chef seemed a bit heavy handed, kindaoverpowered the meat taste slightly, this is just nitpicking details. I had the 30day dry aged strip med rare. Char was perfect and flavor was great but It was rare and super tough. I was so excited... to eat at a steakhouse in NYC and picked a place I'd heard of. My date had the boneless ribeye med rare and it was just astough as mine. My jaw was working overtime just to chew through each piece. Im sorry for such a review but I was sodisappointed. My vacation money spent on my only choice I could afford. Im really confused because I thought every steak onthe menu should be tender and melt in your mouth. Read more
Went here on the recommendation of a friend and we were not disappointed. The bacon appetizer was 3/8" thick and very tasty. For... mains we had lobster tails and a 14 oz rib eye. The steak was charred with a pepper rust and the inside was a true medium rare,melting in your mouth. The 24 layer chocolate cake was perfect but we ended up bringing most of it home, and it was still goodthe next morning. Service was attentive without being intrusive, and all the staff was very friendly. Will definitely be backon our next trip to NYC. Read more

A little loud for me, but definitely a dining experience. Amazing steaks, go figure, but the sides were great too. Service was... what you expect... Sharp, efficient, friendly and even knew the history of the place, or at least had a story we believed. ???? Read more
