For the money there is better sushi elsewhere in the city. We paid $114 for two people and neither of us went nuts. The cost per... piece will range from $5-$22 (just for one piece). I am used to high priced sushi but $22 for a PIECE of Uni is a littleoverboard. That said the fluke was $5, hamachi $7 and salmon $10. In terms of quality the fish, no argument the fish is good,and fresh. Though the O-Toro I got was not a great cut, the fatty part had gristle I couldn’t chew (like silver skin). Alsothe ponzu is VERY heavily flavored by Shiso, which overpowers what should be a more delicate flavor (IMHO).The staff are lovely,location is great. Shed seating is not great, the bench is too shallow so the bench starts to cut of your circulation after .15,sitting at the cute sushi counter (window) is the omakase only ($68 or $100+) frankly the better value, but not sure what fishyou get. Great quality and service. However, several of the pieces in the Omakase were not to my taste. Really enjoyed the rolls and have... been back since and will probably go back again. The Omakase is a great value, and the fish is amazingly fresh. Read more

Fun, non-traditional spot for a quick sushi meal. Brought my little guy who is a huge salmon/tuna nigiri fan for lunch and we... were the only ones here when it opened. We sat outside in one of the curbside booths given the weather was decent. I enjoyed the12 piece omakase with a few nigiri pieces on the side for the little one. True to their branding, it was a true “30 minuteomakase” experience. The fish came out expeditiously and was all very good, with a few fun twists thrown in- Everythingseasoning on the salmon, a Wagyu piece thrown in, etc. The menu also contains a bunch of fun “premium” options-Wagyu/toro/uni nigiri, maki, and the like.
