Lunch was delicious but the service was subpar, probably because of there being only one waiter for the lunch hour. Bread... wasn't brought or replenished until asked for, neither was drinks and I overheard the table next to us asking when starters weregoing to arrive. I know the restaurant industry is struggling and I have no ideas on how to fix this, but wanted people to knowthat there may be some issues. Going to another restaurant likely won't result in much better service because they're allunderstaffed. So, go here if you want delicious food and don't mind subpar service. Read more
I had my 81st birthday party at Tartina lunchtime today. I'd been there before several times with a friend. The food (for 8),... service, and atmosphere were great. We were all pleased and happy--and we were every one experienced Manhattan restaurantpatrons. The food bill per person was $48 including service--we rounded it to $50. Food is absolutely delicious. Service is excellent and friendly This italian eatery understands italian pasta and dishes. The... portions are favorable and price points are comfortable. Drinks are prepared well. The evening we had dinner the establishmentwas empty so I’m not sure what the experience is like when it’s packed but dinner while the restaurant is half empty wasactually a delight. Excellent food. I had the salmon burger and it was delicious. The lentil soup was hardy. It was a good way to start my dining... experience. It was a quaint and lovely atmosphere. The host and waiter were wonderful. There weren't any families withchildren like other Italian restaurants on the strip. So it is lovely for a nice date.
