Flavorful, tender chicken - good portion. Quick, fun staff. Recommended if you are not familiar with the cuisine (like me) but... want to give it a try! Read more

Definitely a gem around the central park that not many people know about . The food was soul touching. I had the yassa chicken... bowl that had grilled chicken, plantains, flavored rice and salad, and I must tell you everything was just heaven. If you arelooking to try African food, this is the place for you. Read more

I found this spot after a quick Google search for African delicacies. It is truly a nice spot to relax and have a good fusion on... different African delicacies. In one plate, you can have a taste of Nigeria, Ghana perhaps Senegal etc. which is unique andpairs well together. While it was good to have a taste of the local Nigerian malt drink, Maltina, I won?t say it tasted anybetter than your regular locally produced malt drinks here in the US which are way cheaper ($1 compared to $4). I have been heretwice now and my food was served cold on both occasions I guess this is because of the Bukka style being adapted here but evenso food remains hot or warm in those settings. Overall not a bad experience. Read more

Ufff i love the vibe in here. Delicious food with plenty vegan options, Afrobeats playing in the background, seat yourself and... pay at your seat making it super convenient. There?s all types of seating and the wall decor, accent African pieces andbookshelf with Black writers combined uplifts the whole experience. Chefs kiss-will definitely be returning, regularly. I?m afan! Read more

Got the vegan bowl for pick up/takeout and all the components were delicious. Very flavorful and the spicy plantain had a nice... kick to it. I went with the included peanut sauce instead of switching out to another hot sauce. The peanut sauce was decadentand mild, even though it also includes scotch bonnet pepper. It was perfect. The bowl was enough for two portions. Only issueto note is that I ordered online in advance and although it indicated the approx time when it would be ready, I didn't get anynotifications that it was. I decided to go pick up anyway. It was ready for me. However, I then got both notifications that theywere preparing my meal and it was ready for pick up at the same time about an hour later. It seems that the food was beingexpedited in real life, just not getting updated in the online ordering system. Just FYI for those ordering pick up, andhopefully for the restaurant to look into.
