3/5. The 3 stars came from the food the place had. The broth and noodles were unique and delicious in the fact that they had... unique ingredients included within. The restaurant is missing 2 stars due to the service and overall surroundings. I asked forextra ingredients but they did not come back at all. The restaurant was also obnoxiously hot. As far as restaurants go, this wasn't bad. On the pricier side as well, but not over the top. For starters, the chicken dish... didn't have much flavor and also had that "chickeny not-fresh" taste to it, but luckily they had siracha, a chili sauce, andsome sort of brown sauce on the table which really helped the dish out. The beef dish was really good, but still could have donewith more spice as well so I added some of the brown sauce and a bit of siracha. After doing that, I thought the dish wasperfect. I didn't try the soup dish for myself but I was told it was good. The service itself was fine, but it's worth notingthat we specifically had to call someone after waiting roughly ~10 minutes for the bill. Not a big deal though because theyseemed to be very busy. Also, I usually use a restroom at a restaurant to judge how clean the restaurant in general might beand happy to say that the restroom passed inspection. And for anyone reading this review and wondering, there are TWOsingle-person restrooms available for customers. So overall, not bad food or a bad restaurant, but personally wouldn't visitagain because the food was pretty mediocre and there's no need to settle for mediocre food in NYC of all places. Read more
