Menu for The Beach at Dream Downtown in New York, NY

Was the perfect place to relax and grab a drink and bite to eat on a Sunday afternoon. Got there around 11:30 and wasn?t crowded... at all. By noon/1, there were more people, but definitely not super packed. Everyone was friendly, was the perfect place to sitpoolside with a book and relax. On the pricier side at $150 for a chair and $80 to just sit, but you can spend the whole daythere and get your money?s worth! Will definitely be back! My first time today. Clean. Staff could not be more accommodating. Carafe of ice water is provided, and refilled as needed.... Small pool but not everybody swims. Although website says pool is heated, it wasn't and was a bit cold. Food and drink were v.good. No complaints. Would definitely do it again. Sadly, the season ends this Sunday. Read more

I had an amazing time here with my bestie July 25th 2021. At first I was skeptical due to the so many negative reviews I saw... online BUT still went anyway to witness it for myself. It was nothing short of amazing. The service was awesome and there wasn'tany prejudice during our time. The manager of PHD even had a lil chitchat with us and helped with our luggage since we weretraveling back to DC shortly after. I'll definitely be back. Lemme post some pics too. I have been trying to get in touch with someone from The Beach at Dream Downtown without any luck for the last 4 days regarding... an issue with a reservation I have coming up. I left a voicemail, I have emailed several times but to no avail. They will notreturn my calls or my emails. It has been a frustrating experience. Follow up: I eventually called the hotel instead of TheBeach at Dream Hotel and they gave me the work email address to someone who would be able to help. However, I believe that in2021 a customer should be able to find working contact information on an establishments website rather than the individualhaving to hunt for a response for 5 days. THEY WILL OVERCHARGE YOU AND NOT REFUND YOU. I went to brunch here with 3 friends. The food and service was mediocre at best and... we were running late so I signed the check quick and we were on our way. Once I got home, I noticed they over charged me for abottle of champagne and cocktails we didn't order. Over $150 dollars in charges that we did not order. I called and emailedmultiple times and was told "sorry but you signed the receipt theres nothing we can do. we would love to welcome you back for acomplimentary drink though". I would highly recommend people not supporting this establishment. I have now been overcharged inboth the hotel and restaurant. They are scammers.
