My mother & I ordered the Rib plate & The Classic sandwich plate. The Ribs were cold( they tasted just OK, the "Roll" was cold... and hard as a rock, no butter to put on it & for $17 & change it was just mediocre. Chile's has much better ribs and sides forless money. I paid $12.50 for the classic sandwich plate that came with no drink. As I was eating I was looking around andnoticed a sign that said Monday special ( day we were there) classic special plate, everything I got With a drink for $11.99. Iwas never told I could get this plate for .50¢ less that included a drink, and I certainly wasn't going to go complain to get.50¢ back on my CC, tho I probably should have asked for a drink. My sandwich was OK but could have been much better if thebun had been warmed up and not in the stale side, which made it kind of crumble while I tried to eat it. The Beans we're alsoOK, I think my beans are better, the potato salad I didn't care for but if you like a mustard base potato salad you might likeit. All in all for $35 & change that included a $5 tip, & didn't include any drinks for us, it was VERY disappointing, we couldhave gone to Chile's and gotten much better food for for probably less money. We felt it was a complete waste of $35. We won'tbe coming back. I do have to say the employees were very nice to us and gave us good service, & and we were probably annoyingbecause we had never been there and had plenty of questions. Tho I do wish be they had told me about the daily special thatwould have given me a drink for less money. I really wanted to like this place too. Read more

Pulled pork and fries were fantastic. Brisket and beans were a bit lacking. Definitely would recommend but just get the pork!

The Bullet: Kind of no frills but the service is polite and efficient. And for me, the taste of the meats is excellent. The... Bavkup: On my visits, he meat has been perfectly smoked, tender and fresh tasting. BBQ sauce (Original, Tangy or Spicy!) is anoptional add-on. I use the first two but sparingly because the meat is so savory and moist. I pretty much avoid the spicy sauce. So far, I've had the pulled pork, turkey and brisket. A 1/4 lb of each suits my appetite and usually lasts at least two meals(lunch and dinner or dinner and breakfast next morning). There is a variety of sides from which to choose. The only one thatI've tried is the BBQ baked beans. As with the meats, the flavor is mild (there's always the spicy sauce if you crave theheat). Prices are competitive and based on the consistent quality of the product, I feel like I'm getting my twenty'sworth. I'm not a expert but I do like the way Dickies handles their BBQ business. Food is pretty good for a chain but the website and email deals have never worked. Don't know if it's this particular franchise... that doesn't honor them but this company should be charged with deceptive business practices. There WILL be a call to theDelaware state attorney general's office on Monday. Read more
