Always good accommodations and great service! I wish the restaurant was still open.

This is where we had our first date. That was in 2008. I thought it was a very romantic Nice atmosphere very friendly people.... Your right about feeling like a picture perfect place. The sunset over the lake is beautiful. And the community makes you feelmore than welcome there. If anyone felt that they were out of place or uncomfortable. Maybe that is because this a Christian rancommunity. Not a cult. They have rules and guidelines for the folks who live and work there. If you are not comfortable withthat then then I'm sure you probably would think the worst. The food is awesome prices on the buffet are quite reasonable. Wehave been back on many occasions and would love to go more often. Its just a bit of a drive, since we have gotten married in2008 and moved east of Quincy. Loved the place and people! Read more

So sad to see it closed. Drove 45 minutes for Fine Dining with candlelight and two forks and linen napkins and wonderful ... caring service . And you know how your money was spent to the Lord. Read more

This is really an awesome place to eat. Too bad that they will be closing at the end of the month. Melt in your mouth brisket.... Wonderful pork. Scrumptious roasted turkey. Too many other tasty treats to mention. Guess we will have to dine at The Solid RockCafe in the future. Read more

Great food! Great service! More than fair price! I wish I could bring them back to Texas .They have a cook, that does their meat... dishes ( as in BBQ, smoked, grilled, etc. ) that they are lucky to have. I am usually there, with a world champion BBQ chef (Chef Dwayne ), and the black gentleman, that is the Lodge chef, comes and visits with us. He always asks our opinion, about hisdishes, and he is a pleasure to talk to. I am not a professional cook, but I am a professional eater, and I love this place.Wewe're there, this last New Year's Eve, and they had seafood buffet. It was second to none!
